Atak Industrial is actively pursuing strategic collaboration negotiations with global technology leader Vulcan Energy to transform Türkiye's rich geothermal resources into eco-friendly and high-value-added investments.

Why Vulcan Energy?

• Zero-Carbon Production: Vulcan Energy extracts lithium dissolved in geothermal brine using the innovative "Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE)" method without harming the environment. The process utilizes thermal water first for electricity and regional district heating, extracts the lithium, and then reinjects the fluid back underground to ensure a sustainable cycle.

• Partner to Industry Giants: The company has secured long-term, binding take-or-pay supply contracts with top-tier automotive and battery giants including Stellantis, LG Energy Solution, and Umicore.

• Europe's Leading Lighthouse Project: Vulcan has achieved financial close on a €2.2 billion financing package for its "Lionheart" project currently under construction in Germany. Driven by its proprietary VULSORB® technology, it targets the lowest-cost quartile globally for lithium hydroxide production.

Our Vision for Türkiye:

An estimated 100,000 tonnes of geothermal water surface every hour across approximately 1,000 wells in Türkiye. Leveraging Atak Industrial’s engineering and automation capabilities, we aim to integrate Vulcan Energy's proven DLE technology into existing domestic Geothermal Power Plants (JES), establishing a resilient and sustainable battery materials supply chain in the region.

• Current Status: Letter of Intent Phase (Negotiations Ongoing)

As part of our technological expansion strategy in the life sciences sector, high-level executive meetings and strategic discussions with Budapest, Hungary-based global pharmaceutical company Healthnova Pharma (Healthnova Pharma Kft.) have successfully progressed to a key intent phase.

Driven by our Atak Industrial brand, this corporate initiative aims to build a dynamic commercial bridge between Healthnova Pharma—a specialist in the development, manufacture, and licensing of high-quality, cost-effective generic formulations globally with a core focus on Dermatological products—and Türkiye's robust, well-established domestic pharmaceutical manufacturing infrastructure.

The ongoing negotiations cover multi-faceted cooperation paths with local manufacturers, including Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) and raw material supply chain management, contract manufacturing, product licensing (in-licensing), and joint R&D projects.
